People

We remain focused on keeping the public, our coworkers, and our contractors safe. Our commitment to safety extends to all our operations and begins with our stands that catastrophic wildfires shall stop, and everyone and everything is always safe.

We also aim to build an engaged, qualified, and fairly compensated workforce. We attract and retain coworkers with stable and benefits-paying jobs, professional development, and growth opportunities paired with our focus on health, wellness, and joy at work. We are activating our culture and are committed to our coworkers feeling known, loved, and proud.

Embracing the Lean operating system

We are building a culture of performance and continue to implement our Lean operating system, a core and foundational component of PG&E’s Performance Playbook.

We focus on five Lean “plays” designed to transform performance—visual management, operating reviews, problem solving, standardization, and waste elimination.

PG&E’s Dublin Innovation Center embodies the Lean vision as a space for coworkers to collaborate and reimagine our work. The facility contains command centers and visual management boards that enable coworkers to rapidly learn, engage, and problem-solve.
