Executive Vice President, Enterprise Transformation Office | PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company

Marlene Santos is Executive Vice President, Enterprise Transformation Office, at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and PG&E Corporation.

 Santos leads the Enterprise Transformation Office that includes a diverse portfolio of companywide initiatives designed to create value and improve performance.

 

Included in her portfolio are:

  • A multi-year upgrade of the company's SAP enterprise resource planning software and other key technologies
  • An expansion of the company's Lean continuous improvement program to become a holistic business planning and management system
  • A team of organizational change advisors
  • An enterprise business performance office

Santos came to PG&E in 2021 as chief customer officer to lead customer operations, corporate communications, Lean implementation and a major enterprise software upgrade. Before that she was at NextEra Energy, Inc., and served as President of Gulf Power Company, a NextEra subsidiary. Her prior role was as NextEra's Chief Integration Officer for the company's acquisition of Gulf Power and two other companies. Santos also served in several senior operational and leadership roles for Florida Power & Light Company including Vice President, Customer Service.

 

Santos has a wide breadth of experience overseeing digital and cultural transformations, M&A integrations, safety improvements, smart-grid enablement, data analytics and emergency response.

 

Santos graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with both a bachelor's degree in finance and a master’s degree in business administration.
