Jason Glickman is Executive Vice President, Strategy and Growth, for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and PG&E Corporation.
In this role, Glickman leads long-term strategic and infrastructure planning. He is also responsible for energy policy, electric and gas procurement, innovation and utility partnerships to make the grid resilient and clean, and strategic commercial solutions for the world’s fourth-largest economy, bringing data centers and other large-load customers online throughout PG&E's service area.
Glickman joined PG&E in 2021 as Executive Vice President, Engineering, Planning, and Strategy. In this previous role, he oversaw PG&E's long-term planning and near-term engineering priorities, including the utility's gas system and electric infrastructure, new business connections, supply chain, materials, and environmental activities.
Glickman has extensive strategic experience and deep industry expertise. Prior to PG&E, he spent 14 years at Bain & Company, becoming a Partner in 2014 and the Global Head of Utilities and Renewables in 2020. At Bain, he advised leading energy companies on strategy and sustainability, as well as affordability and digital transformation. Glickman designed and implemented comprehensive long-term plans that encompass asset strategy, engineering, and operations, and led several multi-year enterprise affordability programs to benefit customers. Prior to that, he served as a Principal at EY-Parthenon (formerly The Parthenon Group) for five years.
He holds a BS and an MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
Glickman serves as an Executive Committee Member on the EPRI Research Advisory Council. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees for the California State Parks Foundation from 2022 to 2024 and the Board of Directors of the Western Energy Institute from 2021 to 2023.
