Shilpa Ramaiya is ice President, Regulatory & Rates and Chief Regulatory Officer for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
In this role, Ramaiya is responsible for overseeing the development of and regulatory process related to PG&E's General Rate Case (GRC) and other proceedings with the California Public Utilities Commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, addressing risk, gas, electric and customer programs.
Ramaiya joined PG&E in 2004 and has held key roles of increasing responsibility across the company's regulatory and customer functions. During her tenure, she has overseen the development of, and regulatory process related to, both the 2020 GRC and 2023 GRC, and has played a key role on various gas and electric proceedings, including: energy supply, gas operations, gas pipeline safety, distributed energy resources, customer support programs, and Diablo Canyon Power Plant.
Ramaiya earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communication from the University of California, Davis.
