Meredith Allen is Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

In this role, Allen is responsible for leading policy and regulatory activities before the California Public Utility Commission, the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety, the California Independent System Operator and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Allen also develops and oversees all aspects of PG&E's engagement with these state and federal agencies.

Allen has more than two decades of experience in law and the energy regulatory arena. Allen has successfully held key roles of increasing responsibility within PG&E's Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining PG&E, Allen served as Senior Regulatory Counsel at Sempra Energy, where she represented San Diego Gas and Electric Company and Southern California Gas Company in high-profile regulatory proceedings. Allen began her career in complex commercial litigation representing Fortune 500 clients.

Allen earned a JD from the University of California-Berkeley and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Benedictine College. Allen is a graduate of Leadership California and completed the Leadership in Crises Executive program at Harvard Kennedy School. Allen is a member of the State Bar of California and served many years as a committee member of the National Women's Law Center.
