Simes has served as the Regional Vice President for Pacific Gas & Electric Company’s Central Valley Region, since July 2021.
Simes lives and is headquartered in Fresno County and is accountable for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality performance to our customers and ensuring the safety and reliability of regional operations in our hometowns.
PG&E’s Central Valley Region serves 1.2 million electric and 950,000 gas customers in 13 counties and 16 tribal nations.
Simes came to PG&E from Comcast, where he spent more than two decades in field operations leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Field Operations in a five-county area serving more than 800,000 customers
Born and raised in Pittsburg in Contra Costa, Simes earned an associate degree from Los Medanos College, where he started his football career. Simes holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from Portland State University in Oregon, where he continued his passion for football. He lives in Clovis with his wife, Shaletha. They have a daughter and a son.
