Christine Cowsert Chapman is the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business and Technology Modernization for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Her team is responsible for a companywide update of enterprise management software platforms and associated business processes. Cowsert Chapman has been with PG&E for more than 20 years, serving in various natural gas engineering and operations, human resources, and electric engineering functions.

 

Before her current role, Cowsert Chapman was Senior Vice President of Gas Engineering, Service Planning and Design. She previously led various PG&E teams—including electric asset management and regulatory compliance, gas asset and risk management, engineering, gas control, gas system planning, regulatory strategy, compliance, and innovation. Cowsert Chapman was also in charge of the 24/7 operations of PG&E's Gas Operations Center and PG&E's Gas Transmission business.

 

Cowsert Chapman has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's in business administration from the University of California. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in California and a board member at the Chabot Space and Science Center.
