Christine Cowsert Chapman is the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business and Technology Modernization at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
In this role, she oversees modernization of core business processes and technology platforms, including major enterprise system upgrades and cross-functional process improvements. Cowsert has more than 25 years of experience at PG&E and has held leadership roles across engineering, operations, human resources, asset management, regulatory strategy, and business transformation.
Cowsert has been an active leader within the energy industry, serving in leadership and advisory roles with organizations focused on utility operations, innovation, research, and executive development. She previously served as Chair of the American Gas Association's Operations Managing Committee and has served on the boards or advisory groups of organizations including the Gas Technology Institute, Northeast Gas Association, NYSEARCH, and the University of Idaho Energy Executive Program. She is also a member of the Foundation Board for the Chabot Space & Science Center and has long supported leadership development and mentoring initiatives.
Cowsert holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
