Bryon Winget was named Vice President, Electric System Planning in 2024.
Winget leads the Integrated Grid Planning, Electric Investment Planning, Integrated Investment Planning, and Electric System Planning and Reliability teams.
Winget's teams are focused on implementing lean process improvements, increasing quality leading to cost savings, risk reduction, and increasing throughput while decreasing unit costs. Under Winget's leadership, his teams will continue to improve the way we work to deliver better outcomes for our customers and our coworkers.
During his 16-year career at PG&E, he has focused on leading cross functional teams and implementing new programs. Winget has been instrumental in setting policy through rate setting proceedings, interpretation of federal regulations and working with regulatory agencies and industry associations.
Winget joined PG&E in 2008 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was Director of Integrated Investment Planning. His previous roles have included Director, Gas Investment Planning; Director, Gas Transmission Integrity Management Program; Senior Manager, Corrosion and Direct Assessment Engineering; and Supervisor/Manager, Direct Assessment Engineering.
Winget holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of California.
