Angela Sanford is PG&E's Vice President, Vegetation Management.

She is responsible for a portfolio of vegetation management programs that support our critical safety, compliance and reliability efforts to prevent catastrophic wildfires across the company's 70,000-square-mile service area.

Sanford joined PG&E in 2023 after more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience, advising major energy companies across the country. She specialized in complex program execution, technology innovation and operational efficiency. She most recently served as a Managing Director at Accenture, where she was responsible for delivering strategic outcomes across wildfire mitigation, gas and electric operation, and customer operations for a large North American energy account.

Sanford earned a Bachelor of Science in Electric Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
