Andrew (Andy) K. Williams became Vice President, Coworker Relations for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in 2024.
Williams is responsible for setting the policies and processes impacting PG&E's represented and non-represented coworkers. His organization works toward developing stronger partnerships with coworkers and union leaders while improving the company's support model and enabling a better coworker experience.
Williams has more than 25 years of experience in the utility industry. Previously, he served as PG&E's Vice President, Shared Services overseeing transportation, aviation, real estate and land and environmental functions. Prior to that, Williams led numerous functions, including safety, health and environmental management.
Williams also served as Vice President, Human Resources, responsible for labor relations, the delivery of human resources programs and policies and training for PG&E. Before joining PG&E, Williams worked in the office of the General Counsel at PPL, an Allentown, Pa.-based Fortune 500 energy company.
Williams received a bachelor's degree in economics from Louisiana State University, and a law degree from Loyola University, where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. Williams is currently admitted to the State Bar Associations of Louisiana (inactive), Pennsylvania (inactive), and Florida (inactive). He also serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of the East Bay.
