Recognizing Diversity Champions

Chris Johns, President of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and Bill Harper, Vice President of Talent Management and Chief Diversity Officer, recognize the diversity champions.

Each year, PG&E’s President’s Diversity Champion Awards recognize employees who have taken the initiative to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace—among coworkers, with clients or with customers—and who exemplify the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion through their behaviors and actions.

Last year’s award winner, Ann Marie Roldan, is President of the Women’s Network. Selected from a number of deserving nominees, Roldan was honored for assisting a nonprofit organization that benefits needy families in the Philippines, for her work as a mentor to other women at PG&E and for her efforts to benefit the community and foster inclusiveness and respect for diverse opinions.

Three other leaders earned honorable mentions: Miyuki Iwahashi for her work with the CFO Diversity and Inclusion Council; Natalie Nguyen for leading a “Together Everyone Achieves More” project in her department; and Susan Randall-Nelson for her continued dedication to the ERGs and participation in the American Association of Blacks in Energy.
