Jerry Davis serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for PG&E.
Prior to joining PG&E, Davis founded Gryphon X, LLC, a technology risk and advisory firm. Previously, Davis served as the first Vice President and Global Chief Security Officer (CSO) for a global semiconductor equipment manufacturing company in Silicon Valley, where he had global responsibilities for cyber and physical security, business resiliency and corporate investigations. Davis has also served as the senior executive for information technology as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley. As a security executive, Davis served as the NASA Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Chief Information Security Officer for the US Department of Education and as the Deputy Assistant Security for Cybersecurity (CISO) and Privacy for the US Department of Veterans Affairs, all in Washington, DC.
Davis is a combat decorated Marine and served worldwide as a counterintelligence and counterespionage officer with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Davis is a Fellow with the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT) a Washington, DC Think Tank, a Senior Fellow with CivilianCyber, and serves on the Professional Advisory Board with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, College of Security and Intelligence, Prescott, AZ.
Davis holds a bachelor's degree in business and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Uniform Police Officer training course.
