Vice President, Electric Business & Performance Management | Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Bill Arndt is vice president, Electric Business & Performance Management, for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He is responsible for business planning, management reporting, performance management, workforce strategy and coordination of the operating plan for the Electric Operations organization. He also oversees major project governance for the utility.
Arndt joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 2007 after serving as senior vice president, Financial Operations, for Exelon Corporation, where he successfully led the execution of several large-scale business improvement projects, including the company's flagship change initiative, the Exelon Way. Arndt's experience also includes more than 19 years in management leadership roles within General Electric's Power Systems business unit, where he helped drive financial and operational performance improvements in various global business segments, including the integration of the sales and marketing functions to support the creation of a global joint venture between General Electric, Hitachi and Toshiba.
He holds a bachelor's degree in marine engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. He is a retired U.S. Naval Reserve Lieutenant.
