Kent M. Harvey

Chief Risk and Audit Officer
Kent M. Harvey is Senior Vice President, Chief Risk and
Audit Officer for PG&E Corporation.
Harvey, 49, oversees the company’s enterprise-wide
risk management, internal audit, compliance and corporate
security functions.
Harvey began his career at PG&E as an engineer in
1982. He also served as Corporate Secretary, Director of
Financial Analysis, Director of Investor Relations, and
Vice President and Treasurer, before becoming Pacific Gas
and Electric Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief
Financial Officer and Treasurer. He assumed his current
position in October 2005.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a
master’s degree in engineering – economic systems,
both from Stanford University. Harvey serves as treasurer
and trustee of the American Conservatory Theater and director
of the North Bay Council.
